About Criterium-Harbor Engineers
Criterium-Harbor Engineers is the Baltimore affiliate of Criterium Engineers, North America’s oldest and most experienced organization of Building Inspection Engineers. This organization, founded in 1957, includes more than 150 Professional Engineers (P.E.) and Registered Architects R.A.), who serve clients throughout the United States and Canada from more than 60 locations.
Criterium-Harbor Engineers was established in Baltimore in 2004 by Craig D. Smith, P.E., who is the local owner and personally oversees all work conducted from this office. Mr. Smith holds a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University. He has over 25 years of experience in the design, construction and management of buildings and building systems. He Smith is a registered Professional Engineer in the states of Maryland and Virginia and a LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional).
